Nation's Capital Chapter, DCA
One of our most successful fundraisers was a book drive in which we collected 5,335 pounds of books (all those containers plus more are behind us). Another was crafting log snowmen complete with scarves and hats. These funds helped support the Patrick Henry Family Shelter with the purchase of air mattresses plus pumps which are given to the families when they leave the shelter. Other charities we support are Women Giving Back, Northern Virginia Family Services, and The Hole in the Wall Gang.

The Fort Lauderdale Chapter, FLL, just received a beautiful thank you letter from the Mental Health Association of South Florida for their charitable work in the donation of backpacks and school supplies. They have also made charitable donations to the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, and the Hugs Fund. More charities will be added.

West Palm Beach Chapter, PBI
The PBI Chapter of Silverliners had a fun year! In October, we served an "Oktoberfest” dinner for the caretakers of injured veterans suffering from a variety of disabilities such as Traumatic Brain Injuries. The caretakers—usually wives or parents of the injured veteran—come to Jupiter, FL for a break in their duties. It is our honor to annually participate in their fun & rehab for a few days.

Los Angeles Chapter, LAX
Our Los Angeles Chapter supports Angel Flight West. Angel Flight West links volunteer pilots and commercial airlines with people whose non-emergency health needs require long-distance travel to access care. On the ground, volunteer drivers ferry passengers to and from their departure and destination airports.
